Our first annual open house is scheduled for 2012! Walk in hours will be:

Our open house will feature yard art, bird houses, various Hosta, perennials, and of course daylilies! We will also offer special pricing on select daylily seedlings.

Welcome to Cherished Memories Daylilies! We are located in Wadsworth OH, which is around 40 miles south of Cleveland and 15 miles west of Akron.

My gardening “addiction” started several years ago and grew by leaps and bounds when I relocated to Ohio from Illinois. Our gardens consist of 1000+ named daylily cultivars, several hundred named Hosta, Heuchera, and various other perennials.

I am a member of the Ohio Daylily Society and the American Hemerocallis Society. Most of my daylily friends know me by my maiden name, Amber Strope. I am recently married to my great husband Tom and my last name is now Ward.

I began hybridizing 7 years ago and now grow around 4000+ seedlings. My hybridizing goals: good clean color, overall plant habit, bud count and branching and I concentrate on a good strong Northern Hardy plant. Please view our introductions, select seedlings, and futures. I welcome your feedback!
